Once it is booked, arrive at the training centre on the training date (you do not need to bring anything with you) and you will be trained in a number of popular beauty treatments essential for working in a salon or spa, these include:
- Physiology and anatomy

- Eyelash and brow treatments
Once you have completed this training and demonstrated what you have learned you will be issued with an accredited diploma. With this diploma you can obtain insurance so you can charge paying clients – even when doing your case study work.
What happens next
After training you will be sent an theory pack. This includes assignments and questions which you will complete at home in your own time. This covers the theory part of the course. You also need to demonstrate that you have practised the treatments you have been trained in to achieve your qualification. You do this through practising on clients making sure you record every thing. These will be your case studies. After a final assessment you will receive you NVQ qualification.
The fast track option
Would you like to the qualified with 10 weeks? Then you need to enrol on an Elite course. This training works a little differently compared to the standard NVQ course. They break the entire course down into 10 modular sections (you will complete one section per week).
Apart from the final assessment modules each one will focus on one treatment. Each week you will learn the treatment, complete the required theory and case study work before moving onto the next module. After just 10 weeks you will have an accredited diploma and an NVQ Level 2 qualification in Beauty Therapy.
These courses are available in Stockport and Windsor (20 mile west of central London).
